Every week this spring IMS will post a Product of the Week entry to highlight an item we’ve noticed has caught recent blaze with our customers or is popular this time of year.

This week I am revealing one of my favorite items that we carry. Our mfg. rep brought this item into to our showroom one day and I loved it from the first moment I saw it in fact I ordered mine that same day. I am recommending item: A199 and A198 The Space Dyed Full-Zip jackets by Adidas.

This jacket is just very sporty and stylish, it looks great on a variety of sizes and shapes of people and comes in sizes S-2XL in ladies and S-3X in men’s styles.

They built a lot of comfort features in this jacket too! The construction is 90/10 polyester/elastane with french terry front and back panels for movement and moisture wicking. It has a self mock collar that you can wear open or closed and the ladies version has a great vertical back seam for shaping and slimming. It has 2 front zip pockets and the ladies style has those great thumbholes for running and biking. The men’s version has banded cuffs and a bottom hem “I’m actually wearing this jacket as I type this blog”.

With so much going on in our lives these days, I need inspiration. And coffee. But, mostly inmspiration. So, I thought I would send a little love your way this week and provide that extra cup of creativity!

So, like most of you, I attend A LOT of tradeshows, which means unless a promotional giveaway is fun, really exciting or something I’ve never seen, it doesn’t catch my eye. But, the alternative to that is when I do find something new and unique I grab it.That being said, here are five products that I am all about, and I think you will be too:

The Mini USB 4 Port Hub: Speaking of tech items, which are always a hit in my book, this mini USB hub has 4 ports instead of one. Genius! This is such a great tradeshow giveaway because 74% of consumers have at least one promotional product in their workspace and in general, consumers hang on to promotional products for over six months, longer if it is deemed useful. You can never have too many USB’s obviously, but when you are traveling with your laptop and you have 5 different things to plug in, this little guy is going to be your new best friend.

The Leatherman® Style® CS Multi Tool: Full confession, I own 4 of these. Some given to me at shows, and some I have acquired on my own. I have one in my kitchen, tool box, backpack and car. Here’s why. This tiny tool has scissors, a file, a knife, tweezers, a bottle opener and a mini-screwdriver. I cannot tell you how many times I have used any one of those tools and I cannot express to you enough how much you need one of these in your life. Your recipients will thank you.

The Sharpie Gel Highlighter: Again with the writing instruments? Yes, because much like the aforementioned pen, this is no ordinary highlighter! This is actually made from a fluorescent gel that doesn’t smear or bleed. We had several of these in the office and they were quickly confiscated by myself and a few of my marketing department colleagues because they are so awesome! They are fun to color with in addition to their intended use. In fact, I have given some of these to non-industry folks and have recently been asked for more. So, there’s you proof for that one.

Most of us spend as much time at our desks as we do in our homes. If that’s the case, we should all put some time and effort into making sure our workspace is as happy and motivating as possible. There are tons of cool products out there to choose from when designing your office. We’ve put together a list of the top six essentials to make any workspace awesome.

1. Greenery – No matter what your office or desk situation is, having a plant around is the number one way to make it cozier. Research shows that plants lower workplace stress and enhance productivity by up to 12 percent ( source ). Plants are natural air-purifiers, meaning that your little plant could keep you from catching that cold going around the office! Additionally, plants can be very calming, while at the same time stimulating critical thinking and creativity.

2. Good Smells – Aromatherapy is totally on-trend right now, and for good reason! Aromas have been used for over 6,000 years to affect mood, and your desk area could definitely use some ancient healing. Choose an invigorating scent, like orange or rosemary, or opt for stress-relief and relaxation with lavender and peppermint. 3. Pictures – When you’re spending long hours at work, it’s important to be surrounded by the people you love.
